Google Fast-flip is an attempt to bring the news-browsing speed and ease of print formats to the web.  I don’t know if anyone will use it after the novelty wears off, but it’s interesting (and a little fun).

"You Don't Understand Our Audience"

This is a great piece by former Dateline NBC correspondent John Hockenberry about exactly what’s gone wrong with television news. Namely, that they try to attract viewers with entertainment at the expense of actual news.
