Comcast Cameras to Start Watching You?

Comcast is experimenting with putting cameras in their cable boxes that detect who’s in the living room so that they can “add value to the viewing experience” (sidebar: the words “add value” are generally the meat in a bullshit sandwich). I suppose the situation could be remedied with a piece of electrical tape, but I don’t think I could bring myself to let the device in my house in the first place.
