Consolidate Firefox's chrome
This is a great tutorial about how you can hack Firefox to give you more screen real estate for, you know, actually viewing web pages.
For example, you can get rid of the Help menu (who needs that, anyway?), the Edit menu (keyboard shortcuts are quicker), and the Home button (Alt-Home works just fine). With all that extra room, you can move the navigation bar up into the menu.
And why would you need forward or back buttons when there’s no site to go forward or back to, anyway?
