Obama is once again reaffirming the very same Bush-era policies that he once ran against. This time, it’s the unconstitutional policy that allows Homeland Security officers to search travelers’ laptops with no suspicion of wrongdoing. Does he think he’ll be able to keep this up and win another term? Sadly, he probably can.
