Global Mac market share up to 6.6% for September 2007
6.6% is still pretty small, but it’s 40% better than the 4.7% for the same month last year. By comparison, Vista is only a shade ahead at 7.4%.
Windows’ marketshare is still a dominating 91%, but that is down from 94% a year ago. They aren’t in danger of losing their lead in the near future, but given the momentum that the challengers are currently enjoying and the way that Vista is floundering, it’s safe to say that MS aren’t in a position to reverse the trend.
