Pours red-amber with an off-white head. This Belgian ale has a rather intense smoky, roasty flavor, but there is a very zesty tanginess that shows through. There’s a definite hoppy kick in the aftertaste with a little bit of fruity sweetness that lingers afterwards. This was an enjoyable brew and while the style isn’t one of my favorites, I would buy it again.
