Kronenbourg 1664
As macro pale lagers go, this one’s quite good. It starts off with the somewhat watery taste you expect from the style, but the crisp mouthfeel and lingering sweetness set it apart.
As a side note, the bottle is beautiful. “1 6 6 4” is molded into the glass in 1½ inch numerals. Of course, beware of possible green-bottle skunkiness.
