Ron Paul: End the War on Drugs →
From the Article:
I disagree vehemently with the recreational use of drugs, but at the same time, if people are only free to make good decisions, they are not truly free. In any case, states should decide for themselves how to handle these issues and the federal government should respect their choices.

The “funky-good” band was Simien the Whale.
At the Intersection waiting for Papa Vegas. Not sure who’s playing now, but they’re funky-good!
A pitcher of Two-Hearted Ale and live rock music…it doesn’t get any better than this!
Enjoying a Double Trouble at Founders before the show!
Looking forward to the Papa Vegas show at the Intersection tonight!
Ran three miles tonight. Getting back into this is a lot easier than I had expected.
If anyone ever sends you a link to a video called “cakefarts” do NOT watch it. You have been warned.

FOSSFORUS - Free Open Source Software For Us →
Sourceforge has posted a number of very nice Free software packages in an easy-to-use download site. I personally use many of these as they are usually better than the non-Free programs they replace.
Note: if you’re not a Windows user, you’ll want to click “Settings” at the top of the screen and change the platform accordingly. The site will detect your OS and display...

Scp - Secure File Transfer between UNIX machines →
scp is a souped-up copy command that can quickly and securely move files between two UNIX systems. For some reason, I keep forgetting about it…hopefully now that I’ve posted it I won’t forget. :)

Firefox May Already Be Dead →
Make no mistake: the success of Firefox made the new generation of super-fast browsers (Chrome, IE8, etc.) possible. However, if Mozilla doesn’t step it up, Firefox will go the way of Netscape.
The beta version of Firefox has stepped up performance drastically, but I’m afraid that they’ll be playing catch-up until 4.0 drops (whenever that is).
Oh man. These system upgrades are never as easy as you’d think…even when you rehearse. Good thing I know how to cheat. :)
