This beer is one of my absolute favorites. It pours a nice golden orange and has a spicy, floral hop aroma and a crisp, smooth flavor. Lightweights beware: that smooth flavor hides the 7% alcohol quite well. This is simply a superb IPA.
Red Hook ESB
There’s not much in the way of aroma, but Red Hook’s ESB is well-balanced and has a nice bitter finish. I can’t say that it’s one of my favorites, but it’s definitely worth a try.
